Sarah Gordon Drake Architect, LLC is an architecture firm that specializes in high-end residential projects in the tri-state area.   Sarah Drake received a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1985 and moved to New York City soon after.  Her first years in professional practice included work at Lincoln Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  By 1989, she focused on projects in homes and houses working under the banner of prominent New York City architecture firms.

 

In 2001, she started her own firm as Sarah Drake Design, then in 2010 as Sarah Gordon Drake Architect, LLC.  Her projects have varied from new kitchens, apartment renovations and total-gut, multi-level house restorations and extensions in both modern and traditional styles in single-family homes, townhouses and apartments.  

 

Today, with more than thirty-four years of experience and having developed a special knowledge of working in landmark districts and residential properties of all types in New York City, she also provides consulting services to other architects, engineers, contractors and building management teams.
